LeadingPilot

Cookie Policy

Last updated 20 May 2026

Short version: we use one essential session cookie and one analytics cookie. No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking pixels, no cross-site cookies. The analytics cookie can be refused without breaking the site. Detailed list below.

02Cookies we set on leadingpilot.com

  • Session cookie — set when you log in to your workspace. Holds a signed JWT. Lifetime: 7 days, then deleted automatically. Essential; cannot be refused without losing access to /app.
  • Currency preference — remembers EUR/USD/GBP selection on checkout. Lifetime: 1 year. Functional; you can refuse it and pick a currency manually each time.
  • Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) — aggregate visitor analytics. We do not use this data for advertising or sell it. IP anonymisation is enabled by default. Lifetime: up to 2 years. Optional.

03Cookies we do NOT set

  • No advertising or remarketing cookies (no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no TikTok Pixel)
  • No cross-domain tracking (no Hotjar, no FullStory, no session-replay tools)
  • No A/B test cookies (we do not run an A/B test framework today)
  • No social-login cookies (we do not offer Google or LinkedIn sign-in today)

05Changes to this policy

We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when anything in our cookie set changes. Material changes (adding a new third-party cookie, enabling advertising, or starting cross-site tracking) will also be disclosed via email to active accounts at least 14 days before they take effect.

06Questions

Email privacy@leadingpilot.com with any cookie or tracking question. We respond within one working day. For broader data protection topics see the Privacy Policy.

07Governing law

This Cookie Policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales and aligned with the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA. Where a stricter local rule applies (e.g. France's CNIL guidelines), the stricter rule wins.
